Truly Free... To Belong

Larry Winckles and Gerard McNamara have joined our CLC 2013 program team as leaders of a workshop entitled "Introduction to the Free Methodist Church." This is one of our regular offerings at our conferences and is especially directed at those pastors, leaders, and guests who are new to the Free Methodist Church. While briefly touching on the history of the church, both worldwide and in Europe, the main focus is rather on our core principles and practices. This teaching has proven to be extremely helpful to those individuals and church leaders who are considering joining the Free Methodist Church.

Larry currently serves as pastor of the Budapest Free Methodist Church, whereas Gerry serves as the pastor of the Győr Free Methodist Church, both located in Hungary.

Truly Free... To Be Whole

Norbert Izsák from Budapest, Hungary has joined our team of workshop leaders for the 2013 Church Leaders Conference. He will be presenting a workshop entitled "Challenges for pastoral psychology in 21st Century Europe." Norbert is a journalist (writing for such magazines as HVG and Figyelő in Hungary) and an author of two books (Vallomások, A lélek titkai). He is also the co-author of Autokeirikus pasztorálpszichológia, which has been called the definitive Hungarian work on pastoral psychology. Norbi also teaches at the Pentecostal Theological College in Budapest and is nearing completion of a Ph.D. at the University of Pécs in Hungary.
